Basics of Load Safety
You can estimate whether a good counts as a dangerous load by using our easy-to-use load calculator.
The safety of a load, and the potential need for a dangerous goods safety advisor, can be evaluated using the load safety metric.
Index = Units[kg,L] ⋅ CategoryMultiplier
If the sum of all indexes in a load go above 1000, the load is designated as a dangerous load.
The category is the relative danger of the good being loaded. This number ranges from 0(very dangerous) to 4(relatively safe), and each number is assigned a category multiplier (CM), which will be detailed below.

Warning
Terry check all the information below here very carefully.
Examples include:
- 0: Antimatter [Silly example] (CM=inf.)
- 1: Explosives (CM=50)
- 2: Flammable Gas (CM=3)
- 3: Flammable Liquid (CM=1)
- 4: Flammable Solid (CM=0)
Note that this is extremely simplified.
In these cases, you would be required to follow DGSA guidelines above and equal to the following amounts:
- Antimatter - 0kg
- Explosives - 20kg
- Flammable Gas - 333.33 L,Kg
- Flammable Liquid - 1000 L, Kg
- Flammable Solid - Infinite amounts.
